Spend a full evening and a night in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, far from the lights of the city. The afternoon starts with a 60-minute nature drive in a vintage 1950s Land Rover, or a slow camel caravan across the dunes, with a Conservation Guide who explains how plants, animals and the Bedouin survive in the desert.
After a falconry show at sunset you arrive at a torch-lit Bedouin camp for dinner and Emirati entertainment. When the camp goes quiet, you sleep in a traditional stone dwelling room under a sky full of stars, and wake up to a gourmet breakfast before the transfer back to Dubai.
