Discover the Sheikh Zayed Museum — one of the UAE’s most important cultural projects, dedicated to the history of the region and the life of the Father of the Nation, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The museum’s exhibitions guide visitors through hundreds of thousands of years of history — from the earliest human settlements dating back around 300,000 years to the modern development of the United Arab Emirates. You will learn about the culture, traditions, and lifestyle of the people of the UAE, as well as the nation’s journey toward statehood and the outstanding role Sheikh Zayed played in its creation.

The museum features six permanent galleries and one temporary exhibition, each telling a distinct chapter of the country’s history.

Special attention deserves the museum’s architecture itself — a monumental building crowned with five steel towers rising 125 meters high, symbolizing the wings of a falcon, the national symbol of the Emirates. This is not just a museum, but a true architectural and cultural masterpiece.
